Cos’è un IEEE Student Branch (IT)

Un IEEE Student Branch è una sezione studentesca locale dell’IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), la più grande organizzazione professionale tecnica al mondo nel campo dell’ingegneria, dell’elettronica, dell’informatica e delle tecnologie correlate.
Uno Student Branch è composto da studenti universitari che condividono interessi scientifici e tecnologici e che collaborano per creare una comunità attiva all’interno dell’ateneo, promuovendo attività formative, di networking e di crescita professionale.
Attraverso lo Student Branch, gli studenti hanno l’opportunità di organizzare seminari, workshop, eventi tecnici, incontri con professionisti del settore e attività divulgative, sviluppando al contempo competenze trasversali come leadership, lavoro di squadra e comunicazione.
A Pisa è attivo uno IEEE Student Branch rinnovato e dinamico, animato da studenti motivati e appassionati di tecnologia, ricerca e innovazione, con l’obiettivo di creare una comunità aperta, inclusiva e orientata al futuro.

What is an IEEE Student Branch (EN)

An IEEE Student Branch is a local student chapter of IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers), the world’s largest technical professional organization dedicated to advancing technology in engineering, computing, and related fields.
A Student Branch is formed by university students who share common technical and scientific interests and work together to build an active academic community within their institution, fostering education, professional growth, and networking opportunities.
Through a Student Branch, students can organize seminars, workshops, technical events, meetings with industry professionals, and outreach activities, while also developing soft skills such as leadership, teamwork, and communication.
In Pisa, a renewed and dynamic IEEE Student Branch is active, driven by motivated and enthusiastic students passionate about technology, research, and innovation, with the goal of building an open, inclusive, and future- oriented community.
