February, 11, 2026 17:00-18:00, Meeting Room, Ground Floor, Dipartimento di Ingegneria dell’Informazione, Via G. Caruso 16

The seminar explores the theoretical foundations of suicide prevention and mental health disorders, examining how digital technologies can contribute to achieving preventive goals. While these innovations offer unprecedented opportunities in terms of reach, precision, and accessibility, they also raise critical issues related to ethics, equity, privacy, and clinical effectiveness. The presentation analyzes both the potential and the limitations of technological approaches, providing a balanced assessment of how digital tools can be responsibly integrated into evidence-based prevention strategies.
